After twelve years without a settled CBA — a period that stagnated income for Hempstead teachers and diminished growth for students — The Chandler Law Firm was retained to steer the parties to resolution. With Monte Malik Chandler serving as lead counsel, the firm negotiated and finalized a comprehensive collective bargaining agreement, closing one of the longest-running labor impasses in the district's history.
